The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for persons eight years of age and older with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

Can Vampires beat the World's best athletes? Find out when Vampire Baseball™ comes to Salt Lake City, home of the 2002 Olympics! Join cast from Twilight and New Moon, along with Olympic Champions as they take to the field to play Vampire Baseball™ in a benefit for Special Olympics of Utah!
The Salt Lake City Lineup:
Participating celebrities include: Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, Tyson Houseman, Alexander Mendeluk, Ted Ligety, Louie Vito. Additional celebrities who are joining the roster will be announced each week - so check back for details.

Additional Premium Experiences Your admittance ticket includes assigned seating in the Spring Mobile Ballpark for Celebrity Vampire Baseball™. As a ticket holder, not only will you have a great seat to see all the play-by-play, you're welcome to take pictures of the actors as they play Celebrity Vampire Baseball™!

There are additional opportunities for exclusive photographs, autographs and meet and greets with actors that can be purchased for additional fees. These include:
- Personal Photo Op Tickets: Have a picture taken of you with your favorite celebrity. (These tickets will go on sale around May 1, 2010 - once all celebrity arrival schedules have been confirmed)
- Personal Autograph Tickets: Bring your own personal item (such as the official event program or merchandise) and have it signed by a celebrity (These tickets will go on sale around May 1, 2010 - once all celebrity arrival schedules have been confirmed)
- Exclusive Celebrity Cocoa Meet and Greets: A maximum of 30 fans have the exclusive opportunity to spend 30 minutes with a celebrity in a luxury suite (These tickets will go on sale around May 1, 2010 - once all celebrity arrival schedules have been confirmed)
