
Wayne Douglas Morgan, Actor/Producer
President of Upperline Entertainment, Actor/Producer Wayne Douglas Morgan has performed extensively in film and television over the last five years. In addition to acting in such films as The Dukes of Hazzard, Déjà Vu, Blonde Ambition, Labou, and Cirque Du Freak, this native of New Orleans has also worked in just about every job description on a film set including Bodyguard (for Lindsay Lohan & Ray Liotta among many other celebrities), Casting Director, Locations Manager, Assistant Director and Producer.
Wayne’s first film as producer was the well-received Hood Life, starring Shoney Carter, about the tough streets of New Orleans. In 2007, Wayne teamed up with entertainment attorney Murray Roth and together they formed the production company, Upperline Entertainment, which is dedicated to creating full-length independent features within the state of Louisiana. Wayne is also actively involved in the bourgeoning Louisiana film industry as the Director of the non-profit organization, Louisiana Produces, which promotes the production of film and television shows in Louisiana. In addition to producing The Second Line, Wayne and Upperline Entertainment are currently producing Honey Island, The Plantation, Eschaton, Beyond Remorse, The Black Ghost and the highly anticipated Jena 6 – The Mychal Bell Story.
Wayne’s greatest role to date is that of Husband and Father to three beautiful actresses.
Pepper Morgan – Casting Director
Pepper Morgan is a native of Florence, South Carolina but has resided in New Orleans for the past 6 years. She is a mother of three daughters aged 5, 8, and 10 (all actresses). She has been a casting director and assistant for film, TV, and commercials for the past 5 years and has worked on such projects as Déjà vu, In the Electric Mist,, The Riches, and The Reaping. She is also an event coordinator and has coordinated several major events, such as the Capital One Bowl. She has also been an acting coach for children for the past 3 years and specializes in teaching improv.
Will Warner – Writer, Editor, Producer, Director, Actor
Warner is a member of the Writers Guild (WGA). His is the Writer and Producer of the upcoming film The Black Ghost of which he has the starring role. He has also had a role in the mega blockbuster Michael Bay film Pearl Harbor. Will owns I.C.E. Studios with his wife Tirsa Warner.
Tirsa Warner – Assistant Editor, Production Assistant
Tirsa is an Assistant Editor and Production Assistant as well as the Co-Owner of I.C.E. Studios with her husband Will Warner. She has helped created and develop the upcoming film The Black Ghost.
John Swider – Director, Actor, Producer, Editor
John Swider is a New Orleans born actor turned director. His most recent project titled Girls Gone Gangsta (G3) is a grind house style dark comedy. It is due to be released Spring of 2010. Featuring the acting talent of the great John Goodman as well as other New Orleanians such as Wayne Morgan, G3 breaks new ground for its innovative use of cartoon graphics alongside edgy acting. This movie is going to the festival circuit nationwide. Before Girls Gone Gangsta Swider has directed films as diverse as romantic comedies, gory horror, to alien invasion spoofs. His films have been selected in international film festivals and won many awards such as Audience Choice Award and Best Director in the most recent 48 Hour Film Project. His style of directing style can best be described as Tarantino meets Guy Ritchie. His next feature film that he will produce along with his brother, Joe Swider, is Girls Gone Vampire, set to be filmed in New Orleans.
Mickey Gaidos - Editor
Mickey Gaidos grew up in New Orleans where he realized his passions for BMX and Media Production at an early age. Mickey began producing, filming and editing extreme sports videos for such clients as Red Bull energy drink, Freecaster Sports, Fuel TV and many more companies known throughout the extreme sports industry. Mickey has since expanded his skills and is considered to be a versatile filmmaker as he’s worked on Features, Documentaries, Reality, etc. producing award-winning content for clients such as Comcast/Distance Productions, WDSU Channel 6, Louisiana Media Productions, Studio Veaux Carie, New Orleans Video Access Center, Oak Hill Ranch, and Big Fish Media amongst many others.
Although Mickey specializes in Film/Video editing, he is known for his cinematography work as well. He has won numerous “Best Cinematography” awards in such festivals as The 48 Hour Film Festival and the Aspire Film/Video Competition. Mickey’s latest Production, Dreams, a documentary on one of Redbull’s athletes, has gained worldwide distribution through numerous retail outlets and networks. Dreams is being hailed as “Quite possibly the best BMX production to date,” by Ride BMX magazine.
Alex Garcia - Assistant Editor/Production Manager
Alex Garcia is the go-to man when it comes to enabling quick editing solutions. From captures to assemblies Garcia will assist the editing team immensely resulting in quicker turner around times and better end timeline results. In addition to edit assistant Garcia also has unit production management skills, and to that extent worked in that capacity on several feature films as 2nd UPM including Girls Gone Gangsta by John Swider. From pre to post Alex Garcia ensures on time projects.
Ryan Dufrene - Editor
In 2009 Ryan created several animated graphics for Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables plus edited and scored three feature length films starring such actors as John Goodman, Michael Madsen and David James Elliot.
Ryan also worked in television as a Post-Production Supervisor and Musician, in that time he has produced over thirty television commercials. Ryan has extensive experience in Adobe After Effects. He has been working professionally with After Effects for eight years, producing thousands of motion graphics and composites for film, television and DVD distribution. Ryan has worked with the Final Cut Pro editing system even longer and uses both of these tools on a daily basis. He is experienced in audio engineering having worked professionally as an audio engineer in various music studios around New Orleans. Ryan has experience with green screen keying, matte replacement, animation, color correction, camera work, location shoots, prop construction, microphone techniques both in the studio and in the field.
Roy Farthing III – Actor/Producer, Editor, Camera Operator, Gaffer, Key Grip, Set Dresser
Roy is currently producing a local sitcom, starring John Goodman, James Adomian and Bill Chott. Roy is STEWARD CERTIFIED and is a licensed electrician in New Orleans working mainly in camera and lighting department. Roy has worked as an Electrician, Gaffer, Key GRIP and light board operator. Roy is a Comedian and Improv actor and frequently appears live at the La Nuit Theater in New Orleans. Roy has worked on numerous productions including NBC Universal (Katrina Operations) and the TODAY SHOW. Roy started a family owned Business one year after KATRINA to help Rebuild New Orleans and Support the UNO Film School. He is a current member of IATSE Local 478 Union. Roy also owns a Production Company called Lucid FX. Roy has acted in several films including Alien Exposé, Girls Gone Gangsta, and Below Sea Level.
Lindsey A. Crow – Actor/Acting Coach
Lindsay Crow has had a supporting role in Girls Gone Gangsta, produced by the Swider Brothers. She is a Principle model in Luzianne Ice Tea’s 2008 Southeast Regional print campaign, Find your own Front Porch, (athletic theme) and has been featured in health clubs all across the Southeast. Lindsay has modeled for Phillips innovative technology during 2007 Cardiology Convention, New Orleans Convention center (treadmill). She has had numerous lead and supporting roles in movies such as Below Sea level, Deja Vu, Meet the Spartans, and the upcoming Mardi Gras (Starring Carmen Electra). Lindsey was featured in the ASHE Cultural Arts 2008 production of the Vagina Monologues Directed by Big Easy Award winner, Dolly Reeves. Lindsey is extremely active as an Improv performer with Sketchy Characters. She is also currently a Certified Yoga instructor and Law School Student.
